Bree Watson is the Chief Executive Officer of Bundaberg Fruit & Vegetable Growers, representing the Wide Bay Burnett’s $1bn+ horticulture sector. With more than 15 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector, she brings deep industry knowledge, strong networks, and a passion for advancing agribusiness in regional Queensland.

Raised on a farming property in Bundaberg, Bree understands first-hand the opportunities and challenges facing primary producers. She holds multiple qualifications, including an MBA in Corporate Finance, and her expertise spans project management, finance and operations, governance, and strategic industry engagement.

In 2025, Bree was elected Chair of the Queensland Horticulture Council, the state’s peak forum for shaping horticulture policy. In this role, she is committed to ensuring regional voices are heard and to driving a strong, united horticulture sector for Queensland. She also serves on a wide range of committees and boards at local, regional, and state levels, where she advocates for grower priorities, improved productivity, and a sustainable horticulture industry.
