Mundubbera Blueberry Festival
Mundubbera is located in the North Burnett Region of Queensland, 363 kilometers northwest of Brisbane and 190 kilometers west of Bundaberg. Known for its large citrus production, Mundubbera is also home to the largest covered blueberry farm in the Southern Hemisphere. Experience the charm of this town of just under 2,000 people as it comes alive with a warm country welcome to celebrate all things local!

Hervey Bay Whale Festival
Between July and November, thousands of humpback whales travel the ‘humpback highway’ and arrive in the calm, protected waters of Hervey Bay. This gives reason to celebrate each year with the Hervey Bay Whale Festival. An eclectic event to recognise the importance of the ocean to Hervey Bay and promote the conservation of the marine environment and animals that are unique and important to our region.

Goomeri Pumpkin Festival
The Goomeri Pumpkin Festival is a beloved annual event celebrating all things pumpkin in the charming town of Goomeri. Featuring quirky competitions like the Great Australian Pumpkin Roll™, market stalls, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun, it’s a must-visit country festival!

GourMay
Get Ready for a bumper month of food events across Mary Valley Country in May 2026. May is "Feasting Season" and a chance to meet the people who bring food to the table. There will be workshops, farm tours, cooking competitions, gourmet grazing, and more. Whether it be a sunrise breakfast, long lunch, camp oven feast or degustation dinner, there is something for everyone!

Bundaberg Careers Expo
This free community event is designed to enhance education, training, and employment outcomes in the Bundaberg Region. It attracts over 2,000 attendees and features more than 80 exhibitors in a one-day showcase.

Gayndah Orange Festival
Welcome to Citrus Country and the Gayndah Orange Festival, a fun-filled weekend celebrating the citrus season. Enjoy the main street procession, family rides, markets, food, competitions, Gala Dinner, Wine and Cheese Evening and Sunday Family Fun Day. First held in 1957, this much-loved festival continues to bring communities together.

Taste Festival Bundaberg
Queensland’s tastiest food bowl comes alive every September as Taste Bundaberg Festival. This 10-day program is jam-packed delicious events for all, showcasing our region’s vibrant producers and tantalising culinary experiences.

Childers Festival
For decades the Childers Festival has been lighting up the town with culture, colour, and community spirit and each year it brings something new to love. Childers comes alive with pop-up performances, local flavours, street-side surprises; a vibrant festival playground filled with food, fun, live music and festivities for all ages! 2025's event will be held July 24 - 27.

Agrotrend Bundaberg
Agrotrend is a two-day farming and lifestyle agricultural field day held each year in Bundaberg. Whether you are keen to check out and invest in the latest farming technologies or after a something a little different to entertain the kids. 2025's event is scheduled for September 12/13.

Regional Projects Forum
The Regional Development Forum, part of Connecting Hydrogen APAC, Australia Wind Energy, and the Carbon Capture APAC Summit, explores Australia’s clean energy regions. It fosters regional growth through discussions on planning, workforce, environment, and culture, driving economic prosperity and innovation.

Kingaroy Bacon Fest
Kingaroy BaconFest began in 2018 after founder Kathryn Stevens had a “light-bulb” moment. Celebrating Australian pork and producers, it quickly grew, with each festival becoming bigger and better. Held every August, it attracts bacon lovers from across the country.

FraserPOP - Pop culture festival
FraserPop is Maryborough’s pop culture festival, transforming Maryborough State High School into a vibrant hub of film, TV, anime, gaming, cosplay, comics and more. Enjoy special guests, panels, workshops, markets and live entertainment. Entry is a gold coin donation, making it affordable for all ages and fandoms across the community.

Fraser Shorts Film Festival
The Fraser Shorts Film Festival offers a delightful night of family-friendly entertainment, featuring short films that will make you laugh, cry and everything in between.
