Currently the CEO of the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre, she has led the strategic expansion of the organisation, delivering more services and creating more opportunities for disadvantaged people.

Tanya holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Master of Education, and has been recognised through multiple awards including Fraser Coast Young Businessperson of the Year (2012), University of Southern Queensland Young Alumni of the Year (2013) and Finalist in the Queensland Council of Social Service Frontline Hero award (2022).
