With more than 15 years’ experience in economic development, regional policy, events management and small business, Kate has led projects across local government and in conjunction with State Government and Federal Government and the not-for-profit sector, with a strong focus on investment attraction, tourism, community resilience and climate solutions. She has a proven track record in building cross sector partnerships, driving place-based initiatives and delivering strategies that strengthen regional economies and communities.

Kate is currently Director at Surf Consulting Australia, where she partners with government, industry and communities to design and deliver initiatives that attract investment, support sustainable development, and build long-term resilience in regional Australia.
